Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
Salary Range: $17.00/hr-$19.00/hr +Tips

Nirvana Soul is a Silicon Valley-based coffee company, with locations in Downtown San Jose, Main Street Cupertino, and San Francisco, and a Roastery in North San Jose. Our mission is to bring people together through the power of coffee and tea. 

Team

This position joins a team of baristas, shift leads, and managers. The team creates joyful experiences, engages customers and delivers excellent service, takes precise orders and makes quality drinks, keeps the shops and all equipment clean and organized, and supports the overall growth of the company.

Role

The barista reports to the Store Manager, with dotted-line responsibilities to Shift Leads. This is an hourly position plus tips, with opportunities for advancement and increases.

Responsibilities:

  • Make and serve delicious drinks, waffles, and pastries, including for events

  • Deliver personable and memorable customer service to all guests and vendors

  • Communicate with managers and teammates directly and respectfully

  • Follow written and verbal instructions efficiently and execute all tasks

  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

  • A current Food Handlers certificate

  • Able to work up to three consecutive hours on your feet
